Abstract

The recent menace created by Vigilantism in India has become a threat to the Constitution as a whole. The paper addresses the aforementioned issue and proposes principles of internalization as an antidote to the problem of vigilantism in India. The paper is divided into three parts. First part deals with the definition of the words like ̳covenant‘ and ̳vigilantism‘. Second part is application of the method to the chosen text Jeremiah 31:31-34 in order to draw principle of internalization of the covenant. The third part is an antidote to the problem of vigilantism in India.
